So romantic, and so pregnant with Instruction as that of the
British conquest of India and the progress of the British National

Resolution and untiring devotion, does it not unfold! Over what
Fortresses, once deemed impregnable, has not the meteor flag of
England' waved triumphantly I Through what forbidden Mountain
Passes, what dreary defiles, and what tangled genes Kava not the
Notes of her bugles echoed and her Bight arms gleamed! In
What-majestic has, dainty pavilions, and jeweled domes have not
The-strains of her martial mafic and the cheers of her advancing
Soldiery resounded!
