dc.description.abstract The aim and purpose of this study is to find out and assess the impact and perceptions of microfinance loans in Pakistan. While there have been various studies in the past on the impact of microfinance loans in Pakistan, there is a dearth of literature on the impact and perceptions of microfinance, specifically of conventional and Islamic microfinance and which one fares better in alleviating poverty and empowering women. Therefore, this study aims to address and fill that gap. en_US
