dc.description.abstract Presenteeism, somewhat linked to absenteeism, is an under-researched area. When an employee shows up at work with some physical or psychological health issue, he is considered displaying presenteeism behavior. This area of organizational psychology of managerial interest in many organizations because of its relationship with productivity loss. And for obvious reasons, around the world presenteeism has been tested largely on healthcare professionals where the nature of work is such that doctors or nurses must see their patients irrespective of their own health conditions. en_US
