dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the perceptions of different stakeholders on primary school quality in Pakistan. Based on the study, involving a quantitative research technique and class room observations, of eight stand-alone public primary schools in Lahore, the research was able to identify the factors which the stakeholders of these schools perceived to be integral for the improvement of quality of primary public schools in the country. The research was also able to draw comparisons between the perceptions of stakeholders regarding their particular schools and the actual realities as observed by the researcher. Furthermore it also analyzed the extent to which the data published by the government on school quality was true compared to the researcher’s observations of on-ground realities. This research also aimed to draw significant outcomes for public school quality improvement whose adequate implementation will allow the enhanced capacity building and intellectual development of primary school age children in the country. en_US
