dc.description.abstract Purpose: Due to increasing competition within the job market, entrepreneurship has lately emerged as one of the top career choices for many people. The trend has drastically changed as this male dominated entrepreneurial world is slowly being invaded by thriving female entrepreneurs. Nowadays, female entrepreneurship is gaining momentum globally. The present study aims to analyze the impact of entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and social networking on entrepreneurial intentions for modern women residing in an urban setting. Research Questions: This research analyzes whether Entrepreneurial Passion acts as a successful driver of entrepreneurial intention, mediated by entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Also, the role that social networking plays for female intentions has also been gauged as a moderator. Methodology: A quantitative research strategy was adopted for this research. Using data from 252 females through purposive sampling method, Structural Equation Modeling along with Process Macros was used to obtain robust results for moderated mediation analysis. Prior to that, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was also performed to judge the reliability and validity of the research instrument. Results: Reliability and validity was confirmed through the CFA analysis. The research concluded a strong and significant impact of entrepreneurial passion upon entrepreneurial intentions. The mediating effect of entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial intentions through entrepreneurial self-efficacy (mediator) was also proved positive and significant for the given data set. However, as per the results, social networking significantly yet negatively affected the entrepreneurial intentions of passionate women. en_US
