dc.description.abstract |
The rise of new digital technologies and their rapid expansion is transforming the world as we know it. The federal and provincial governments in Pakistan have been increasingly trying to transition towards modern, e-Governance based, public service delivery in the health sector but they face significant challenges in the materialization of these aims. Despite significantly jacking up public sector spending in the Governance and IT sector, Pakistan ranks 153 out of 193 countries in the United Nations E-Government Development Index. This highlights significant room for improvement in the way these interventions are carried out. |
